2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
This past Sunday we had a great start to the year through praying through family, friends, as well as church related things.
Matthew 5 holds the story of Jesus sharing one of his most famous of sermons from a mountainside. Jesus himself calls people blessed who are going through difficulty…when they have their perspective fixed on God. One of the best ways to keep your perspective on God is to read the very words he wants to share with us through the Bible! (Maybe you know where this is going?)
This year, why not jump on board to our own personal Bible reading? Further, in just 7-10 minutes of reading on your smartphone, tablet, or computer a day, after one year, you will have read through the Bible. There are no ‘special Christian points’ for reading through the Bible. Yet, reading the Bible is one of the greatest ways to strengthen your relationship to God.
